The Knights Hospitaller cloak had its origin at the beginning of the 12th century as an order of the hospital of St. John in Jerusalem. The religious community was better known than the Hospitallers order. What began as a group of Italian merchants who were supposed to take care of the pilgrims in the Holy Land grew into one of the most powerful knightly orders of the time. The Knights Hospitaller cloak with a large hood by Get Dressed for Battle consists of 85% wool (outer fabric) and 100% linen (lining). A must-have for every Knights Hospitaller garb.
