The main purpose of the Skramasax was to serve as a tool at home or in the fields but its big advantage was its versatility. Wielded by a experienced swordsman it was a deadly weapon as well. In Situation when it was not used the Skramasax was typically worn in a scabbard that was attached horizontal at the back on a belt.
