This Bastard Sword made by Paul Chen (Hanwei) is based on the swords of the 16th century. The characteristics of this sword are its great balance and the fact that it is made with the manufacturing methods of the Middle Ages. Hanwei is waiving on a polished finnish what leads to an very authentic look. Just the choice of steel with an high proportion of carbon to make the product more durable is the only modern method used in the process. The grip is made of hardwood and is wrapped in leather. Get Dressed for Battle is providing an matching scabbard for the Bastard Sword that is included in the delivery. The total length of the weapon is about 97cm and the blade length is around 69cm.
